Fracturing Separation

Ten years have passed since the illegal Israeli Annexation Wall was built around and through our city, which has forced the expulsion of several Palestinians from their own homes and land. Recently, I discovered in the Wall a very small, unnoticed crack, through which I captured some glimpses of what is otherwise blocked by the Wall. For example, for the first time in ten years, I was able to see my neighbor’s house.

"Fracturing Separation" took place on the Wall itself, around the historic Omar Mosque/Rachel’s Tomb area of Bethlehem, opposite the Anastas family house that is surrounded by the Wall from three sides.
